Listing + IPO Update: MedPlus Health Listing + CMS Info Systems IPO
MedPlus Health: Shares of the pharmacy retailer Medplus Health Services made a strong debut on the bourses as the scrip was listed at Rs 1,040 on NSE, a premium of 30.65 per cent, over its issue price of Rs 796. On BSE, the counter is listed at Rs 1,015, a premium of 27.51% over the issue price. The Rs 1,398 crore IPO of Medplus Health Services was open for subscription between December 13-15, 2021. The company sold its shares in the range of Rs 780-796 per share. The initial public offering (IPO) of MedPlus Health closed with 52.59 times subscription in of which the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 111.9 times while the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) and Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portions were subscribed 85.33 times and 5.24 times, respectively. The portion reserved for employees was subscribed 3.05 times.
CMS Info Systems IPO: The initial public offering (IPO) of CMS Info Systems Limited, India's largest cash management company in terms of the number of ATM points and retail pick-up points, was subscribed 0.84 times by 12:11 pm on Thursday, the third and the last day for bidding. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion was subscribed 0.14 times, while the Non-Institutional Investors (NII) and Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) portions were subscribed 0.08 times and 1.57 times, respectively. The company seeks to raise Rs 1,100 crore from the initial public offer and the initial share is entirely an offer for sale (OFS) by the promoters and existing shareholders. The shares of the company will be available for bidding in a price band of Rs 205-216 per share. Retail investors can bid for the public offer for a minimum of 69 equity shares worth Rs 1,93,752, and in multiples thereof up to 13 lots.

GE Shipping: Up 7.27%. The Board of Directors of Great Eastern Shipping Co. Ltd. is scheduled to meet on December 27, 2021, to consider and approve a proposal for buy-back of equity shares of the Company.
MOLD-TEK Technologies: Up 7.30%. The company today announced the successful completion of QIP at a premium of 2.44% over floor price aggregating to Rs 103.6 crore. The funds that have invested in this QIP include marquee investors like Goldman Sachs India Equity, White Oak India Equity Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Trustee Private Limited Plc, ICICI Prudential Smallcap Fund and others. QIP Committee of the company on Friday approved the issue and allotment of 14,00,000 Equity Shares to the eligible qualified institutional buyers of the Issue at an Issue Price of Rs 740 per Equity Share, which is at a premium of Rs 17.60 per Equity Share i.e. 2.44% premium on the floor price of Rs 722,40 per Equity Share. The Issue aggregated to Rs 103.6 crore.
Pfizer: Up 2.43%. Pfizer Inc.’s COVID-19 pill has gained USFDA approval for emergency use in the US. The drug, called Paxlovid, is the first at-home therapy for COVID-19 to win clearance from the USFDA. The Company has started manufacturing activities. The company has said that it will find contract manufacturing partners in India and other low and middle-income countries.
GAIL: Up 1%. The Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to meet today to consider the recommendation for payment of Interim Dividend for FY 2021-22. For payment of Interim Dividend, if so approved by the Board, the "Record Date" will be Friday, December 31, 2021.
Indiabulls Real Estate: Up 1.30%. The Board of the Company on Wednesday approved the raising of funds aggregating upto Rs 1500 crore to augment the long-term resources of the Company and to maintain sufficient liquidity for meeting funding requirements for business activities, existing & new projects & future business growth.
Adani Ports: Up 1.72%. The government has announced new tariff guidelines for public-private partnership projects (PPP) in major ports, aiming to make them more competitive and market-friendly. Under the new regime, private concessionaires at major ports will be able to charge tariffs as per market conditions. These new guidelines will be applicable for future PPP projects, including the projects which are currently under the bidding stage. According to an official statement, in the new Act, the provision of the erstwhile Tariff Authority for Major Ports (TAMP) stands abolished. The fresh guidelines are part of the new Major Port Authority Act 2021, which came into effect last month on November 3, 2021.
