NSE India has recently tweeted from its official Twitter handle requesting its investors to update the KYC details. The tweet said, "Take note, investors! Update your KYC details at the earliest to ensure your investment processes are not hampered."
The NSE has requested its investors to update their KYC details by December 31, 2021 to continue with smooth investment processes. NSE has further informed that as per the regulatory guidelines, the six KYC attributes such as name, PAN, address, mobile number, email ID and income range have been made mandatory.
It must be noted that this has been done to protect the investor's interest by sending alerts of various transactions in the account.
One thing must be noted in this context, the NSE KRA facility is offered by the NSE Data & Analytics formed in 2000. It is a subsidiary wholly owned by the NSE.
Now, if one wants to update your mobile number or change the address then, one will have to log into his or her account in NSE KYC KRA. After that, the person will have to click on update details and accordingly make the changes. When the individual makes changes, a OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number or email ID.
In case of any further queries and details, one must login to the official website of NSE at nseindia.com.
