Dividend Paying Stocks: Indian equity benchmarks posted robust gains during the special one-hour Muhurat trading session to mark the beginning of the Hindu Samvat year 2079. The benchmark 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 524.51 points or 0.88 per cent to close at 59,831.66. On similar lines, the broader 50-share NSE Nifty50 advanced 154.45 points, or 0.88 per cent, to finish at 17730.75. This helped stock market investors to book some profit. There are some other good news for investors this week as several stocks that are going to trade ex-dividend.

Cyient Ltd: The board of directors of this multinational technology company - that is focused on engineering, manufacturing, data analytics, and networks and operations - has fixed October 27, 2022 as the record date for interim dividend payment for the FY22-23. This means the share will trade ex-dividend today i.e. October 25. This is because stock markets will remain closed on October 26 for Diwali Balipratiprada. Those having this stock will get an interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share. The interim dividend will be paid by November 9, 2022.

ICICI Lombard: The board of directors of ICICI Lombard has fixed October 28 as the record date for the payment of the interim dividend. Eligible shareholders will get a dividend of Rs 4.50 per share. While shares will trade ex-dividend on October 27, the company board has said that the interim dividend will be paid on or before November 16. 

Infosys: The board of directors of this IT major has declared an interim dividend of Rs 16.50 per share. The record date for the dividend of Infosys is October 28, this means shares of the company will trade ex-dividend on October 27. 

Focus Business Solutions: The small-cap company will be paying an interim dividend of Rs 0.38 per equity share. For this, the record date has been fixed as October 27. As stock markets will remain closed on October 26, the share will trade ex-dividend today.

KPI Green Energy: The company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 0.25 per equity share and the record date for this purpose is October 31. This means the share will trade ex-dividend on October 28 as markets will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday.
