IGL Share Dividend 2022 Ex-Date: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), NSE: IGL, is paying a whopping 275 per cent dividend per share to its investors. IGI share dividend ex-date is September 15, meaning the stock will trade ex-dividend today.
An ex-date is a business day ahead of the record date that decides the eligibility of shareholders for receiving benefits of the corporate actions like share dividend, share split, share bonus and more.
IGL had earlier declared a final dividend of Rs 5.50 per share having a face value of Rs 2 each for financial year FY22. The dividend translates into 275 per cent of the face value of the company's share.
"The Board of Directors have recommended a final dividend of 275% i.e.5.50 (previous year 3.60) on equity shares of 2 (previous year 2) each for the year ended 31 March 2022 subject to approval of shareholders at the ensuing annual general meeting," the company had said in a filing earlier.
The 23rd Annual General Meeting of IGL is scheduled to be held on September 27.
Earlier on Wednesday, IGL share price climbed around 1 per cent to close at Rs 430 apiece on the NSE. In the last 6 months, the scrip has yielded a decent return of over 13 per cent.
IGL is a large-cap stock. The company is engaged in the business of supplying natural gas to customers in the domestic and commercial sectors.
