Hindustan Copper Dividend 2022 Payment Date, Share Price NSE: Hindustan Copper, NSE: HINDCOPPER, will pay a whopping 23.20 per cent dividend to its investors/shareholders. The government-owned company has received shareholders' approval earlier this week to pay dividend for fiscal FY22. The approval for the payment of dividend was granted at the company's 55th annual general meeting (AGM).

"Shareholders of the Company at the 55th AGM held today through Video Conferencing /Other Audio-Visual Means have approved payment of dividend as recommended by the Board of Directors," Hindustan Copper said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday, September 28.

The company said that the date of the payment of dividend equivalent to 23.20% of the paid-up capital of the company is 26th October 2022. 

Hindustan Copper Dividend 2022 Amount 

The company will pay Rs 1.16 dividend per share of the face value of Rs 5 each. Hindustan Copper had last paid a dividend of Rs 0.35 per share in September 2021.

Hindustan Copper has already determined eligibility of shareholders for receiving the dividend amount. Hindustan Copper dividend record date was October 26.

Hindustan Copper share price on Thursday, September 28, jumped more than 3 per cent on account of approval for the payment of dividend. The scrip settled at Rs 103.80 apiece on the NSE.

Hindustan Copper share price has yielded a negative return of around 20 per cent in 2022. Hindustan Copper share price 52-week range is Rs 159.40-Rs 81.20.

Meanwhile, Hindustan Copper said that it will increase mine production of the metal in phases to 20.2 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) to reduce dependence on imports by the country.

Hindustan Copper is a public sector company under the Ministry of Mines. It was incorporated in 1967.
