HCL Tech Q2 Result: Company declares interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share for Q2FY23
The net profit stood at Rs 3,259 crore in the year-ago period.
HCL Q2 Result: IT Services Company HCL Technologies on Wednesday posted a 7 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 3,489 crore for the September quarter and raised the full-year revenue guidance. The board has also declared an interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share for the financial year 2022-23. The date for determining eligible shareholders for the interim dividend benefit will be on October 20, 2022.
The net profit stood at Rs 3,259 crore in the year-ago period. The revenue for the three months ended September 30, 2022, came in at Rs 24,686 crore, 19.5 per cent higher than the same period the previous year.
HCL Tech saw a rise in the percentage of women employees in the quarter that ended on September 30, 2022, although the attrition rate has remained unchanged from the previous quarter. Like the quarter that ended in June 2022, the attrition rate in this quarter also stood at 23.8 per cent. But the company witnessed a rise of 0.7 per cent in the women workforce.
The company hired 8,359 new employees in this quarter. The hiring of new employees surged by more than 4 times as compared to previous quarters, as the total number of new hiring in the previous quarter stood at 2089. The company currently has a total number of 219,325 employees employed across 54 countries.
Constant currency revenue in this quarter is up 3.8 per cent QoQ and up 15.8 per cent YoY.
