The Board of Directors of Granules India had fixed October 11 as the last day to tender shares. The company had announced to buy back 62.5 lakh shares, equivalent to 2.52 per cent of total paid-up capital, from its shareholders.
Granules India had announced to buy back share via tender offer on a proportionate basis at a price of Rs 400 a share for up to Rs 250 crore.

The company had fixed the record date to identify eligible shareholders for the buyback offer as August 23. It simply means those with Granules India shares on or before the aforementioned date in their demat account can participate in the buy back offer.

The pharmaceutical company chose Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Limited as the manager to the buyback offer, while KFin Technologies Limited was selected as registrar to Granules India buyback.
