Speaking further, the Market Guru said that it means that the company has enough cash and has presented a very good picture as far as corporate governance is concerned.
Talking about this announcement by Bajaj Finance, market analyst Vijay Chopra said the company is very well placed as compared to its peers in finance segment. "This company has a very good penetration even in small tier 2 towns and has equally good asset quality. This company also has very less NPAs as compared to other NBFCs. There are two major reasons when a company increases it dividend payout. One is that promoters have a very good holding, and another is that the company's financial situation is very strong."
Chopra recommended long-term investors to stay put with this share. Though the stock has declined after announcement of increment in dividend payout, it won't fall much and keep on growing in the long-term, he added.
