Godrej Consumer dividend: FMCG giant declares 500% dividend; check out record and payment dates

FMCG major Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) on Wednesday announced an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share, according to a stock market disclosure. 

In an exchange filing, the company said, "Declared interim dividend @ Rs. 5/- per share (500 % on shares of face value of Re. 1/- each) for the financial year 2024-25. As intimated earlier the Record Date for ascertaining the names of the shareholders who will be entitled to receive the said dividend is Friday, August 16, 2024. The dividend will be paid on or before Friday, September 6, 2024.

The record date of the dividend is August 16, 2024, and the company will make the payment on September 6, 2024.

The company has also shared its June quarter earnings alongwith dividend.

Godrej Consumer's Q1FY25 earnings

Goodknight liquid vapouriser maker registered a 41.3 per cent year-on-year jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 450.6 crore for the quarter ended June 30. Its revenue shrank to Rs 3,331.6 crore for the fiscal first quarter of the current financial year from Rs 3,448.9 crore a year ago, according to a regulatory filing. Read more

Meanwhile, Shares of GCPL closed at Rs 1,501.1 apiece, up 1.48 per cent on BSE today, August 7.
