The markets are likely to see some resistance at higher levels on Friday but there will be stock-specific action in which global brokerage firms tweaked their rating.

We have collated a list of recommendations from various global brokerage firms according to a Zee Business TV report:

M&M: Overweight| Target Rs 1100

JPMorgan initiated coverage with an overweight rating on M&M with a target of Rs 1100 that translates into an upside of over 29 per cent from Rs 851 recorded on 9 December.

Tractor volumes have peaked, but the auto segment turnaround should offset tractor weakness. M&M is in the midst of a strong model cycle in SUVs, said the note.

The global investment bank forecasts a core EPS CAGR (FY21-24) of 16%.

PVR: Buy| Target Rs 2000

UBS maintained its buy rating on PVR for a target price of Rs 2000 that translates into an upside of over 34 per cent from Rs 1488 recorded on 9 December.

The market seems to be missing early indicators and there is a big wave of movie releases in the offing. November Box Office at 90% of its pre-covid levels.

PVR is trading at 30 per cent discount to its pre-covid level. The global investment bank is of the view that Q4 Box Office will positively surprise the market.

Dixon Technologies: Buy| Target Rs 6450

Jefferies maintained its buy rating on Dixon Technologies but raised its target price to Rs 6450 from Rs 5800 earlier that translates into an upside of about 20 per cent from Rs 5387 recorded on 9 December.

The global investment bank raised the FY24 EPS By 3%. Jefferies also factors in telecom PLI upside.

Over FY21-24, the global investment bank estimate Sales/Profit CAGR Of +56%/+67%. Growth prospects appear superior to most peers' that auger well for the stock.
