On Friday, the benchmarks opened weak on Friday amid reports of attack on Europe's largest nuclear power plant as oil jumped 4 per cent toward $115 a barrel. In the domestic markets, the Nifty and the Sensex declined 2.5 per cent and 2.7 per cent, respectively, for the week ended March 4, which also saw a trading holiday on account of Mahashivratri on March 1.
Now, here is a list of the factors that will trigger the domestic stock markets from Monday, March 7, 2022. These are as follows:
March 7: Monday
The assembly elections for the 7th phase at Uttar Pradesh will take place on this day.
The exit polls for the assembly elections of five states will also come on Monday.
Cadila Healthcare to change its name from Cadila healthcare to Zydus Lifesciences
The board meeting will be conducted at SUN TV, Metro Brands and NLC India where the companies will consider the interim dividend
March 8: Tuesday
Lucknow-Delhi-Lucknow Tejas will run six days a week from March 8, 2022 to May 3, 2022. However, the train will not run on Tuesday.
For Shriram City Union Finance, the board meeting will take place where the company will consider the 2nd interim dividend.
It is also the ex-date for Deep Polymers: Bonus issue 3:4
As for global news, the Russian markets will remain closed till March 8, 2022.
The GDP of Japan for Q4, year-on-year basis will be released.
March 9: Wednesday
For Pennar Industries, the consideration for buyback proposal will take place on Wednesday.
