Broader market
Nifty Midcap 100 was trading flat at 36,879.35 and Smallcap 100 was trading in green up by 0.41 per cent.
Sectoral watch
Nifty Bank traded 0.15 per cent lower at 46,005.20. Nifty Metal and FMCG traded lower.
Buzzing stocks
Aarti Drugs shares trade higher after the board approved the buyback. SJVN shares traded higher after the company received the letter of Intent (LOI) from Punjab State Power Corporation Limited for the procurement of 1200 MW of Solar Power. Paytm shares rallied after the company narrowed its losses in the June quarter.
Conversely, Zensar technologies, KPIT Technologies, and Varun Beverages opened lower.
