Dividend Stock: Sundaram Clayton, a TVS Group company, has announced to pay an interim dividend to its shareholders. The company's board has approved a whopping interim dividend of 1180 per cent.
The Chennai headquartered company in an exchange filing said that it will pay an interim dividend of Rs 59 to its investors for each share having a face value of Rs 5.
"The board of directors of the Company at its meeting held today, declared an interim dividend of Rs 59 per share (1180%) on 2,02,32,085 equity shares of Rs 5 each fully paid up, absorbing a sum of Rs 119 crore, for the financial year ending 31st March 2023," the company's exchange filing read.
Sundaram Clayton Dividend 2023 Record Date
Sundaram Clayton has fixed the record date for the payment of the interim dividend.
According to information available on the NSE website, the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for the payment of 1180 per cent dividend amount is February 3.
Sundaram Clayton Dividend Payment Date
The dividend amount will be credited directly into the shareholders' bank account linked to their Demat account on the payment date. The payment date shall be February 10.
"The interim dividend declared will be paid on or after 10th February 2023, to those shareholders..," the company's exchange filing read.
