Campus Activewear IPO picked up pace on the final day as the issue was subscribed nearly 13 times around 2pm on Friday, showed NSE IPO data. This is already around four times more bidding than on the second day on Wednesday when IPO was subscribed 3.21 times.
As against 3,36,25,000 reserved shares for this issue, a bidding for whooping 43,31,08,269shares were already made.
Qualified Institutional Buyers led the subscription on Thursday as QIBs quota was filled over 23 times, while Non-Institutional Investors came next with nearly 15 times subscription figure. Besides, retail investors quota saw bidding for more than 6 times the reserved shares. Also, employees' quota was subscribed nearly 2 times on the last day.
Earlier on the second day on Wednesday, the public offer received bids for 10,79,78,526 shares against the 3,36,25,000 shares on sale.
The Rs 1,400 crore IPO opened on April 26, 2022 and will close today, April 28, 2022. The issue is entirely an offer-for-sale (OFS) from the promoters and existing shareholders of the company.
Meanwhile, the issue, with a price band of Rs 278-292 a share, will raise Rs 1,400-crore at the upper end of the price band. Investors can bid for a minimum of 51 shares and in multiples thereof.
Half of the issue size has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), 35 per cent for retail investors and the remaining 15 per cent for non-institutional investors. Further, two lakh shares have been reserved for the company's employees.
