As many as eight companies witnessed a bulk deal transaction during Wednesday’s trading session, of which Max Healthcare Institute equity shares changed maximum hands, with two big mutual fund houses — HDFC MF and SBI MF bought 57 lakh and 4.28 crore shares, respectively, in the healthcare company at Rs 350 per share each, a Bulk Deals data revealed on the NSE.

Similarly, Veritas Funds Plc on behalf of Veritas Asian Fund also picked up 52 lakh equity shares in Max Healthcare Institute at Rs 350 per share, the data showed. The counter today closed 3.5 per cent lower to Rs 355 per share on the BSE, as compared to 0.43 per cent decline in the BSE Sensex.

Meanwhile, a container and packaging company — Rollatainers Limited shares were buzzing during today’s session. Chanakya Finvest, Rajan Dental Institute each bought 25 lakh shares in the company at Rs 2.4 and Rs 2.44 per share, respectively on the NSE, as per the bulk deal data. 

On the other hand, WLD Investment sold 1.75 crore equity shares in Rollatainers Limited at Rs 2.43 per share on the NSE, a bulk deals data revealed. The stock on Wednesday closed near 7 per cent to Rs 2.86 per share on the BSE. 

Former Board member of Jalan Transolutions India, Ritu Jalan sold 1.23 lakh equity shares in the company at Rs 14.5 per share, while Sweta Agrawal, an individual investor, has picked up 81000 equity shares in Jalan Trans at Rs 14.53 per share on the NSE, bulk deals data portrayed. 

An individual investor Chandrakant Bhaskar Rane bought 1.22 lakh equity shares at 50.05 per share, while Wealth Mine Networks sold 1.4 lakh equity shares in Spectrum Electric Ind Ltd on the NSE, the bulk deal data showed on Wednesday. 

On individual basis, stock trader Vimal Gupta sold over 1 lakh equity shares in Alicon Castalloy Limited at Rs 770 per share on the NSE. He had held over 2.84 lakh shares in the company earlier. 

Similarly, Nalanda India Equity Fund sold over 10 lakh shares in Just Dail at Rs 990 per share; IndusInd Bank sold 5.61 lakh shares in Kesoram Industries at Rs 10.62 per share; and Tata Mutual Fund- Money Market Fund bought 11 lakh equity shares in Sunteck Realty at Rs 465.12 per share on the NSE, the Bulk deal data pointed out.
