Through the open market transaction, promoter group Vedanta Holdings Mauritius II Limited bought 4,43,43,139 equity shares from Westglobe Limited in Vedanta Limited at Rs 340.4 per share on the NSE, according to bulk deals data on Friday.

The metal major on Friday said India Ratings and Research (Ind-Ra) has revised the company's outlook to positive from stable. Besides, the long-term issuer rating has been affirmed at 'IND AA-'.

The shares of the company closed flat with positive bias up 0.41 per cent to 354.4 per share on the NSE, as compared to a 0.4 per cent decline in the Nifty50. 

Similarly, Dovetail India Fund bought 24,74,000 equity shares and Suryakanchan Vinimay Private Limited sold 25,00,000 equity shares in Swan Energy Limited at Rs 148.5 per share on the NSE. 

In this same regard, Kalita Dilip Kumar and Swapna Thokala sold 1,71,000 and 2,22,000 shares in Bright Solar Limited at Rs 7.41 and Rs 7.6 apiece respectively on the NSE, as per the bulk deals data. 

Individually, Shree Gajraj Finlease Private Limited sold 9,00,000 shares in Alankit Limited at Rs 14.42 per share; Vora Financial Services sold 2,58,341 shares in Aurum PropTech at Rs 166.57 per share; Gaurav Sarup sold 75,200 shares in Marshall Machines Ltd at Rs 38.42 apiece and Sumanchepuri sold 91,081 shares Mittal Life Style Limited Rs 16.27 on the NSE, the bulk deals data showed. 

A deal where the total quantity of shares bought or sold is greater than 0.5 per cent of the share capital of the company is called bulk deal. It can be transacted either through the normal trading window or through the block trading window.
