Even as stock markets ended negatively on Tuesday, with Nifty50 failing to hold the psychological 18,000 (17,999.20) and the BSE Sensex shedding almost 400 points or 0.65 per cent, action was seen in certain companies where shares exchanged hands in bulk deals. As many as 18 companies’ stocks were bought or/and sold during today’s trading accounting for over 30 transactions.

The biggest bulk deal happened in case of Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd where Microfirm Capital Private Limited sold 122,90,736 shares at Rs 201.56 per equity share. Meanwhile, Rising Sun Holdings Pvt Ltd bought 124,00,000 shares of Poonawalla at a price of Rs 201.50 per share.

Today the stock of Poonawalla ended at Rs 202.95 on the NSE, up almost 5 per cent from the previous closing price on Monday.

Another stock that was in action today was Tanla Platforms Limited where Banyan Investments Limited  sold 20,58,943 shares at Rs 1200.04 per share. Meanwhile, Pioneer Investment Fund bought 13,50,000 shares at a price of Rs 1200 per share.

The stocks of Tanla today ended at Rs 1325.95 on the NSE, up by almost Rs 63 or 5 per cent from the Monday closing price.

S V Investments bought 1,00,000 shares in Intrasoft Tech Ltd at Rs 188 per share. In Atal Realtech Limited, Nopea Capital Services Private Limited  bought 44,800 shares at Rs 150. While Intrasoft ended negatively on the NSE Atal Realtech ended up 1.5 per cent at Rs 152.

Param Capital bought 2,50,000 shares at a price of Rs 349.99 in House of Pearl Fashions L (PGIL) while Premier Investment Fund Limited sold 1,50,000 shares at Rs 350 in House of Pearl Fashions L. The PGIL stocks ended up 15 per cent at Rs 389.10 on the NSE.
