At least three companies’ shares witnessed a change of hands in a freefall market on Thursday. In this regard, Alpha Leon Enterprises LLP and Pavankumar Donepudi bought 4,00,000 and 5,00,000 shares respectively in Stampede Capital Limited at Rs 9.1 per share; while an individual investor Sachi Kapoor sold 5,20,208 shares in the company at Rs 9.1 apiece on the NSE, bulk deals data showed.

The shares of Stampede Capital ended almost 5 per cent higher to Rs 10 per share on the NSE as compared to a 2 per cent fall in the Nifty 50 on Thursday.

Individual investor Ramesh Bhandappa Munnoli bought 60,000 equity shares in Debock Sale Marketing Ltd at Rs 79.76 per share; while Ravindra Shrikant Katti sold 60,000 equity shares in the company at Rs 72.95 per share on the NSE, according to the bulk deals data.

The shares of Debock Sales and Marketing declined over 2 per cent to Rs 75 per share on the NSE at the market close.

Pranal Vinodbhai Rabadiya sold 18000 equity shares in Bombay Metrics SC Ltd at Rs 129.65 per share, while Prasenjit Kumar Paul bought 9,600 equity shares in the company Rs 130.74 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data portrayed.

The shares of Bombay Metrics slipped around 10 per cent to Rs 129.6 per share on the NSE at the market close.

A deal where the total quantity of shares bought or sold is greater than 0.5 per cent of the share capital of the company is termed a bulk deal. It can be transacted either through the normal trading window or through the block trading window.
