As many as dozens of companies’ shares witnessed a change of hands during Thursday’s session through the open market transactions. In today's bulk deals, Axis Bank was the one seeing top action. The third-largest private lender sold 603,402 equity shares in MT Educare at Rs 7.61 per share on the NSE, as per the bulk deals data.

Similarly, ICICI Bank Ltd. (Trading) sold 112,00,000 equity shares in National Highw Infra Trust at Rs 101.64 per share for the second session after a gap of a couple of sessions.

In Jet Knitwears Ltd, Haryana Refractories Private Limited sold 199,500 equity shares at Rs 44.01 per share, while individual investors Manoj Agarwal and Sanjay Popatlal Jain bought 30,000 and 169,500 equity shares at Rs 48.6 and Rs 44 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data showed. 

Individual investors such as Basavaraj Channappa Mahashetti, Chintanben Mansukhbhai Nakrani and Nanalal Bhanji Dudhaiya each sold 42,000, 66,000 and 42,000 equity shares at Rs 91.41, Rs 91.76 and Rs 93.31 per share in Debock Sale Marketing Ltd on the NSE, the bulk deals data mentioned. 

Similarly, another individual investor Vishal Singh bought 60,000 equity shares in Debock Sale Marketing Ltd at Rs 91.4 per share on the NSE, according to bulk deals data. 

Mahimtura Nishant Mitrasen sold 3,22,284 equity shares and Visa Capital Partners bought 3,00,000 equity shares in Libas Consu Products Ltd at Rs 29 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data showed. 

Equity fund Nexpact Limited bought 2,94,444 equity shares, while Sathish Srinivas Nayak and Vignesh each sold 1,38,150 and 1,47,222 equity shares in One Point One Sol Ltd at the same price of Rs 72 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data showed. 

A deal where the total quantity of shares bought or sold is greater than 0.5 per cent of the share capital of the company is called bulk deal. It can be transacted either through the normal trading window or through the block trading window.
