Bulk Deals: Axis Bank sells stake in Sical Logistics for 2nd day in row; Himadri Speciality Chem sees maximum buzz

Over a dozen companies’ shares changed hands during Thursday’s session, according to the bulk deals data. In which, BC India Investments sold maximum equity shares — 1,08,24,370 in Himadri Speciality Chemical company at Rs 50.9 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data showed.

While Axis Bank for the second straight session sold 4,83,427 equity shares in Sical Logistics at Rs 17.11 per share on the NSE, as per the bulk deals data.

LTS Investment Fund sold 47,07,122 equity shares and Trinity Opportunity Fund bought 46,13,726 equity shares in Visa Steel Limited at Rs 15.85 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals revealed.

Wisdomtree Emerging Markets Smallcap Dividend Fund in two different deals sold 20,43,994 and 5,55,496 equity shares in Welspun Corp Limited at Rs 130.45 and Sonata Software Ltd at Rs 845.11 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals portrayed.

Individual investors Dayal Tahilram Parwani bought 50,061 equity shares in Ajooni Biotech Limited at Rs 58.85 per share; Maheshchandra Rangildas Lakhwala bought 72,000 shares in Brand Concepts Limited at Rs 43.45 per share; Satish Ramsevak Pandey bought 48,000 shares in Debock Sale Marketing Ltd at Rs 81.22 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data showed.

Similarly, individual investors such as Mamta Singhal sold 55,000 shares in AKG Exim Limited at Rs 41.93 per share; Sapana Yash Jogani Doshi sold 46,400 shares in Atal Realtech Limited at Rs 161.69 per share and Silkon Trades LLP sold 36,000 shares in Felix Industries Ltd at Rs 37.1 per share on the NSE, according to the bulk deals data.

The total quantity of shares bought or sold is greater than 0.5% of the share capital of the company, then it is termed as bulk deal. It can be transacted either through the normal trading window or through the block trading window.
