Bulk Deals: Ace investor Sunil Singhania-backed AMC picks stakes in Rupa & Company during Tuesday’s session

Ace investor Sunil Singhania-backed Abakkus Asset Manager LLP bought stakes in Rupa & Company Ltd during Tuesday’s session through open market transaction. The renowned investors AMC picked up 14,45,000 and 8,61,000 equity shares in two instances at Rs 465.5 per share on the NSE. 

While private equity firm Societe Generale bought 5,00,000 equity shares in Steel Exchange India Ltd at Rs 226.02 per share; while Mark Corporate Adviosrs Pvt Ltd sold 24,600 shares in Foce India at Rs 227.61 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data showed.

In Titagarh Wagons Limited, GKK Capital Markets Private Limited bought 8,50,000 equity shares in the company at Rs 118.02 per share and Vora Financial Services Pvt Ltd sold 2,00,000 shares in Websol Energy System Ltd at Rs 150.27 per share on the NSE, as per the bulk deals data showed. 

At least 10 individual investors bought and sold in SS Infra Developers Consl Ltd at same price of Rs 14.1 per share on the NSE, the bulk deals data mentioned. Similarly, Chetan Rasiklal Shah sold 31,10,969 equity shares in Sintex Industries Ltd at Rs 17.1 per share on the NSE. 

Penny stocks such as A B Cotspin India Limited, Bright Solar Limited, Dynamic Srvcs & Sec Ltd among others also made appearance during Tuesday’s bulk deals data. 

A deal where the total quantity of shares bought or sold is greater than 0.5 per cent of the share capital of the company is called bulk deal. It can be transacted either through the normal trading window or through the block trading window.
