BCG Bonus Shares: Zee Business impact! Shares credited to investors' demat accounts ahead of May 19 deadline

BCG Bonus shares credit date: In big relief for BrightCom Group shareholders, the company has initiated crediting BCG bonus shares in shareholders' accounts. Many shareholders have told Zee Business that they have received bonus shares of the company. For those who did not receive the shares would get them by May 19, as informed by Zee Business Managing Editor Anil Singhvi earlier.  The company had also said that the shares will be credited to shareholder's demat account on or before May 19.

Meanwhile, the shareholders were informed about the credit of shares via SMS and emails.  

The development comes after Zee Business initiated an investigation into the delay and sought the reasons for the delay from the company.  

After Zee Business launched an investigation into the matter, the company in a regulatory filing said they were hopeful of getting approval for listing of bonus shares from exchanges on Friday, May 13, and the same would be credited to investors' accounts by May 19.

However, shareholders have started receiving shares in their demat account already, said Anil Singhvi.  

"We are expecting final listing approval from the exchanges by Friday, May 13, 2022. Subsequent steps to deposit the bonus shares into all the shareholders accounts can be expected to be completed on or before Thursday, May 19, 2022," it said in a regulatory.  

Earlier, upon receiving requests from several shareholders of the company, Zee Business tried to contact both RTA and exchanges but they did not give a clear answer. Later, the company issued a statement and cleared air about the bonus shares.  

The board of directors of BCG had approved bonus shares on January 25, 2022.   

Meanwhile, shares of BCG were trading with nearly one per cent discount on Tuesday to Rs 63.95 per share on on the BSE
