Axis Nifty500 Value 50 Index Fund: Minimum investment

The minimum application amount is Rs 100 and multiple of Re 1 thereafter. The index will be rebalanced on a semi-annual basis in June and December.

“Factor-based investing has grown from ₹300 crore to ₹30,000 crore in just four years. Value investing, a key part of this strategy, offers investors access to stocks with favorable valuations, helping them achieve long-term wealth creation," Ashish Gupta, the fund’s chief investment officer said.

The fund will be managed by Karthik Kumar and Hitesh Das. Value investing is a subset of factor investing that target securities that are undervalued or less expensive. The factor ‘Value’ is one of the oldest and widely used factor globally.

The scheme objective is to invest in stocks comprising the Nifty500 Value 50 Index (the index) and aim to provide returns before expenses that correspond to the Nifty500 Value 50 TRI subject to tracking error.

Who should invest?

This fund is ideal for experienced investors who want to complement their portfolios with a passive investment strategy focused on value stocks. It also appeals to long-term investors seeking exposure to companies with strong value propositions in the Indian market, according to Axis Mutual Fund.
