Axis Mutual Fund has launched an open-ended equity scheme 'Axis Consumption Fund'. The fund's strategy will focus on innovation, formalisation, urbanisation, penetration, and premiumisation, aligning with both current and anticipated consumption trends.

"To provide long-term capital appreciation from an actively managed portfolio of equity and equity-related securities of companies engaged in consumption and consumption related sector or allied sectors. There is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be achieved," the company said.

Axis Consumption Fund: Subscription dates

The fund is available for subscription from today, August 23 to September 6, 2024.

Axis Consumption Fund: Minimum investment

The minimum investment required under this fund is Rs 100 with additional investments allowed in multiples of Rs 1.

Axis Consumption Fund: Exit load

The fund's exit load encourages long-term investment by charging one per cent if redeemed within 12 months (except 10 per cent of the investment, which is exempt from the exit load) and no fee beyond that.

Axis Consumption Fund: Focus 

The fund's strategy will focus on innovation, formalisation, urbanisation, penetration, and premiumisation, aligning with both current and anticipated consumption trends. 

Axis Consumption Fund: Managers

The fund will be managed by Hitesh Das, Shreyash Devalkar, and Krishnaa Narayan, who will also oversee investments in overseas securities.
