Celebrity investor Ashish Kacholia has made quite a few tweaks in his portfolio in the September quarter, showed the shareholding data with the Bombay Stock Exchange updated on October 18, 2021.

As per the data, Kacholia bought a 2.09 per cent stake in Ador Welding Ltd and 0.32 per cent in IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Ltd. He holds above a 1 per cent stake in Kwality Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Tarc Ltd, Venus Remedies Ltd, and below 1 per cent in DFM Foods Ltd.  

Tarc Ltd is also the stock, where Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has reduced his position to below 1 per cent.

Ador Welding Ltd shares gained marginally around 3 pm and was trading at Rs 714, a gain of Rs 5.85, in the intraday trade on Tuesday. With the addition of a 2.09 per cent stake in Ador Welding, Kacholia now has 4,37,700 shares worth Rs 31.1 crore in the industrial manufacturing company. Kacholia's total shareholding in the company stands at 3.2 per cent in the September quarter, as per Trendlyne.  

The shares of IOL Chemicals, which saw the ace investor upping his position, were down over 2 per cent at Rs 592.10, a decline of Rs 14.40 on the BSE intraday trade. Kacholia's position in this chemical company stood at 2 per cent, against 1.7 per cent in June 2021. The celebrity investor holds 1,153,566 shares worth Rs 68.6 crore in the chemical firm.

Other stocks, which saw the investor increasing his position marginally, are Kwality Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Tarc Ltd and Venus Remedies Ltd. Kacholia now has a 1.4 per cent stake worth Rs 12.1 crore with 1, 41,000 shares in Kwality Pharmaceuticals, 1.5 per cent stake comprising 4,425,000 equity shares worth Rs 18.8 crore in Tarc Ltd and 1.1 per cent stake worth Rs 7.1 crore with 1,50,000 shares in Venus Remedies Ltd.

Reduced position in DFM Foods Ltd  

The star investor cut down position in DFM Foods Ltd. He brought down his position in this share from 2.8 per cent in June 2021 to below 1 per cent  in September 2021.  

Stocks of Kwality Pharmaceuticals traded high on Tuesday around the same time as the shares touched upper circuit Rs 857.70, buoyed by a spurt in the volume of more than 1.88 times. Also, the share was up 5 per cent in the last leg of the trading session at Rs 857.70, up to Rs 40.80.

Meanwhile, the shares of Tarc Ltd ended Tuesday at Rs 42.40, down Rs 1.95 or 4.40%, Venus Remedies at 464.65, down Rs 27.60 or 5.61% and DFM foods Ltd at Rs 340.45, a decline of Rs 2.80 on the BSE.
