Celebrity investor Ashish Kacholia took a fresh position in a penny stock in the quarter ended March 31, 2022, showed shareholding pattern of the company on the BSE. As per BSE filings, Kacholia bought a 4.95% stake in the realty company. A latest corporate filing by CHD Developers shows Kacholia added 63,61,166 shares aggregating to 4.95% in the March quarter. Kacholia also held a 5% stake of the company in March and June 2020. This is also his 5th new addition in quarter ended March.
Popularly known as 'Big Whale' of the Indian market, the ace investor all together added 5 stocks to his portfolio in the recently concluded quarter.
Earlier, Kacholia bought 1.4% stake in Gravita India, 1.8% each in in Fineotex chemicals and Stove Kraft, 2.8% in Creative Newtech and.
Besides, the ace investor raised his position in as many as 9 stocks in March. La Opala RG Ltd, Faze Three, United Drilling Tools, Ami Organics, Yasho Industries, Bharat Bijlee, Kwality Pharmaceuticals, Garware Hi-Tech Films, Xpro India were the stocks where the billionaire investor made some fresh buying in the previous quarter.
He trimmed his position in two stocks —Poly Medicure and Mahindra Logistics — as well in the same quarter.
Meanwhile, as per the latest corporate shareholdings filed by Ashish Kacholia, the investor publicly holds 36 stocks. The net worth of the stocks held by Kacholia is estimated to be around Rs 1,952.1 crore as on April 26, as per trendlyne.com.
A comparative data analysis showed the celebrity investor held 33 stocks with a net worth of over Rs. 1,666.3 crore in the quarter ended December 2021, a gain of Rs 285.8 crore in the quarter ended March.
