Commodity market holidays 2023: In view of Ram Navami, the commodity market will be closed on Thursday, March 30. BSE has listed 15 holidays for equity, equity derivatives and SLB segments in 2023 on its website, bseindia.com. The Ram Navmi is celebrated as a part of the Chaitra Navaratri in the spring. Ram Navami is a festival that celebrates the birthday of Rama, the seventh avatar of the deity Vishnu. On an auspicious day, the devotees of Lord Rama keep a day-long fast

Next stock market holiday in India 

NSE and BSE will remain closed on April 4, Tuesday for Mahavir Jayanti. Trading across all the segments will be unavailable on the bourses on this day.  

India's first listed exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), will remain closed for trading in the morning session on March 30. It will resume trading in the evening session from 5 pm to 11:30/11:55 pm.  

As for the commodity derivatives segment, trading will be available in the evening session.
