‘We have seen investor interest in Apple growing over time. In 2021, Apple was the second among the top ten stocks bought on the Vested platform, constituting 14% of the total trades placed on the top 10 stocks’- Viram Shah, Co-founder & CEO, Vested Finance, said.

Apple might not be the most popular stock but investment by Indian investors has only risen in the recent past. Tesla takes the cake when it comes to the most popular investment among Indian investors.
“There is significant interest among Indian investors when it comes to Apple's stock. Speaking specifically about Winvesta's platform, the AUM invested directly in the company's shares rose 4x year-on-year in 2021. After Tesla, it was the second most traded stock on our platform in the year gone by,” Prateek Jain, Co Founder & President, Winvesta, said.
Other than Apple, other FAANG components like Facebook, Amazon and Alphabet too were among the most traded stocks are also a popular investment options among Indian investors investing abroad.
“As per RBI data, Indian investors invested about $470 million in foreign equity/debt in 2020-21, which was a 9% year-on-year growth,” Ankit Agarwal, Managing Director, Alankit, said.
“Apart from FAANG (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google), Indian Investors have been diversifying their investments to the companies of disrupting technologies and businesses that are expected to be the major beneficiaries of
post-pandemic ‘new economic normal,” he said.
The most dynamic themes that are included in the list are Cloud Computing, Spacecraft & Satellites, and Cybersecurity, highlights Agarwal.
