Anil Singhvi's Strategy May 26: Nifty support zone is 15900-16000, Bank Nifty is 16125-16200

Amid positive global markets, Future and Options (F&O), healthy inflow from Domestic Institutional Investors (DII), negative Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) data and neutral sentiments, short-term trend will be negative on Thursday, May 26, 2022.  

Earlier, the market extended its losing streak to the third day on Wednesday as it failed to close in the green on a single day this week. The broader Nifty50 ended near 16,000, while the Sensex tanked by around 300 points. The two indices closed at 16,025.80 and 25,883.85 respectively amid pressure from IT, metal and realty stocks. Underperforming market Nifty midcap and small cap indices settled with cuts of around 2.5% and nearly 3.5% respectively with India VIX ending past 25-mark.
