Amid positive global markets, Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) and sentiments, neutral future & options and foreign institutional investors (FIIs), the short-term trend on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, will be negative.

Meanwhile, tracking Asian market and rebound in broader markets, benchmark indices on Tuesday rose by more than 2.5 per cent as Nifty50 closed above 16,250 and the Sensex gained more than 1300 points. The 12-share Bank Nifty added over 700 points or surged by more than 2% to settle near 34,300. With over 6% gains, Nifty Metal was the leading gainer among sectoral indices. Nifty oil & gas alse ended higher by more thah 3.5% as they led the rally in the domestic market.
