Amid negative global markets, foreign institutional investors (FIIs), domestic institutional investors (DIIs), sentiment and neutral future & options (F&O) cues, the short-term trend of the Indian stock markets will be neutral on Monday, February 14, 2022.

The benchmark indices, the Sensex and Nifty, on Friday, February 11, 2022, declined more than one per cent amid negative global cues. The Sensex closed below 58,200 points while the Nifty ended below the 17,400 level.

The Sensex lost 773.11 points, or 1.31 per cent, to trade at 58,152.92 while the Nifty fell 231.10 points, or 1.31 per cent, to 17,374.75. The sectoral indices, the Bank Nifty index fell 493.70 points, pr 1.27 per cent, at 38,517.25.

In the broader market at the BSE, the BSE Mid-Cap index slipped 1.84 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap index shed 1.90 per cent.

Day support zone on Nifty is 17,050-17,125, below that 16,850-17,000 is a strong support zone.

Day higher zone on Nifty is 17,250-17,300, above that 17,375-17,425 is a strong Sell zone.

Day support zone on Bank Nifty is 37,850-38,025, below that 37,575-37,700 is a strong support zone.

Day higher zone on Bank Nifty is 38,500-38,600, above that 38,725-38,850 is a strong Sell zone.

The small day range for trading on Nifty is 17,125-17,250, while the medium and bigger day ranges are 17,050-17,300 and 17,000-17,375, respectively.

The small day range for trading on Bank Nifty is 38,025-38,500, while the medium and bigger day ranges are 37,850-38,600 and 37,700-38,700, respectively.

FIIs long position at 48% Vs 52%.

PCR at 1.09 Vs 1.34.

India VIX up by 5% at 18.68.

Nifty Intraday stop loss is 17,000 and Closing stop loss is 17,200.

Bank Nifty Intraday and Closing stop loss are 38,000.

Sell Nifty with a stop loss of 17,375 and target 17,200, 17,150, 17,125, 17,100, 17,050, 17,000.

Aggressive Traders Buy Nifty in 17,000-17,125 range with a strict stop loss of 16,800 and taregt 17,150, 17,200, 17,250, 17,300, 17,375.

Sell Bank Nifty with a stop loss of 38,600 and target 38,200, 38,025, 37,850, 37,750, 37,700, 37,650, 37,575.

Buy Bank Nifty in 37,650-37,850 range with a stop loss of 37,500 and target 37,975, 38,025, 38,200, 38,350, 38,400, 38,500.
