Amid positive global markets, foreign institutional investors (FIIs), domestic institutional investors (DIIs), sentiment, and cautious future & options (F&O), the short-term trend of the Indian stock markets will be neutral on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

At the Indian stock markets, the S&P BSE Sensex and the Nifty 50, on Monday, April 4, 2022, posted robust gains of more than two per cent. Both indices rose amid positive cues from other Asian share markets. The BSE Sensex reclaimed the 60,500 mark and the NSE Nifty regained the 18,000 level. The Sensex climbed 1335.05 points or 2.25 per cent to finish at 60,611.74. The Nifty 50 also surged 382.95 points, or 2.17 per cent, to settle at 18,053.40. In the Sectoral indices, the Bank Nifty index jumped 1,486.70 points, or 4 per cent, to 38,635.20.

The broader indices lagged the barometers. The BSE Mid-Cap index rose 1.27 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap index gained 1.68 per cent.

Nifty support zone is 17,950-18,050, below that 17,700-17,800 is a strong Buy Zone.

Nifty higher zone is 18,175-18,225, above that 18,300-18,350 is a Profit-booking zone.

Bank Nifty support zone is 38,300-38,450, below that 37,975-38,050 is a strong Buy zone.

Bank Nifty higher zone is 38,875-39,025, above that 39,300-39,450 is a Profit-booking zone.

Nifty support levels are 18,000, 17,950, 17,875, 17,800, 17,700.

Nifty higher levels are 18,100, 18,175, 18,200, 18,225, 18,300, 18,350.

Bank Nifty support levels are 38,550, 38,450, 38,300, 38,225, 38,050, 37,975, 37,825, 37,750, 37,675.

Bank Nifty higher levels are 38,750, 38,825, 38,875, 38,925, 39,025, 39,225, 39,300, 39,375.

FIIs Index Long positions are higher at 76% Vs 71%.

PCR near overbought at 1.35 Vs 1.30, Profit-booking expected at a higher level.

India VIX was down by 3% at 17.91.

For Existing Long Positions:

Nifty Intraday and Closing stop loss are 17,950.

Bank Nifty Intraday stop loss is 38,450 and Closing stop loss is 38,000.

For Existing Short Positions:

Nifty Intraday and Closing stop loss are 18,225.

Bank Nifty Intraday and Closing stop loss are 39,100.

For New Positions:

Buy Nifty with a stop loss of 17,950 and target 18,125, 18,175, 18,200, 18,225, 18,300, 18,350.

Sell Nifty in 18,300-18,350 range with a stop loss of 18,500 and target 18,225, 18,200, 18,175, 18,125, 18,050, 18,000.

For New Positions:

Buy Bank Nifty with a stop loss of 38,450 and target 38,825, 38,875, 38,925, 39,025, 39,225, 39,300.

Aggressive Traders Sell Bank Nifty in 38,925-39,025 range with a strict stop loss of 39,100 and target 38,825, 38,775, 38,650, 38,550, 38,450, 38,300, 38,225, 38,050.
