IPO Update
Vijaya Diagnostics IPO: The initial public offering (IPO) of Vijaya Diagnostic was subscribed 0.54 times by 12:52 pm on the third and the last day of bidding. The QIB portion was subscribed 1.03 times, while the NII and RII were subscribed 0.04 times and 0.48 times, respectively. The employees’ portion was subscribed 0.06 times. The Rs 1,895 crore IPO will remain open for bidding till on Friday, September 3, 2021. The price band for Vijaya Diagnostic Centre IPO has been fixed at Rs 522-531 per equity share. Investors can subscribe to the initial public offering (IPO) by betting for a lot of 28 shares or in multiples thereof.

Ami Organics IPO: The initial public offering (IPO) of the Surat-based speciality chemical company, Ami Organics was subscribed 3.38% times by 12:52 pm on the third and the last day of bidding.The QIB portion was subscribed 2.62 times, while the NII and RII were subscribed 1.83 times and 4.48 times, respectively. The employees’ portion was subscribed 0.06 times. The Rs 569.64 crore IPO will remain open for bidding till Friday, September 3, 2021. The price band for Vijaya Diagnostic Centre IPO has been fixed at Rs 603-610 per equity share. Retail investors can place their bids in lot size of 24 shares up to maximum of 13 lots. Ami Organics IPO consists of an offer for sale of Rs 369.64 crore and fresh issue of Rs 200 crore.

RailTel Corporation: Up 3.20%. State-owned RailTel Corporation of India has received a Contract from Directorate of Information Technology, Indian Air Force, Ministry of Defence for implementation of Secure OPS Network for value of Rs 299.95 crore (Inclusive of GST). The work is to be executed over a period of 12 months.
IRB Infrastructure Developers: Up 3.24%. The company has emerged as a preferred bidder for Chittoor - Thachur Six Laning Highway Hybrid Annuity Project in Tamil Nadu. The company made a bid for Rs 909 crore and construction period of 730 days & operation period of 15 years commencing from COD.
HAL: Up 1.06% Board of Directors of the Company will be held on September 21, 2021, inter-alia, to consider the sub-division of equity shares of the Company.
HDFC Life: Down 3.18%. The board will meet today to consider and approve issue of equity shares and/or other securities of the Company by way of preferential allotment. The company is organising a conference call today 09.15 am.
Granules India: Down 0.36%. Granules received licence from DRDO to manufacture and market of 2- Deoxy-D-Glucose (2-DG). Developed by DRDO, 2-DG has been granted permission by Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for emergency use of this drug as adjunct therapy in moderate to severe Covid 19 patients. 2-DG works by accumulating in virus infected cells and prevent growth of the virus by stopping - energy production and viral synthesis. This drug reduces a patient’s average recovery time by two and half days and oxygen demand by up to 40 percent.
PNB Housing Finance: Down 0.58%. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) order in the PNB Housing Finance case of issuing the preferential shares to PE firm Carlyle. Last month, SAT had delivered a split verdict on the tussle between PNB Housing Finance and Sebi over the lender’s proposed Rs 4,000 crore deal with a group of investors led by private equity firm Carlyle.
J&K Bank: Up 0.95%. The board of the state-owned bank has approved the proposal to raise up to Rs 2,000 crore through a mix of equity and debt. The board on Thursday at its meeting approved the plan to raise equity share capital upto Rs 1,000 crore in one or more tranches by way of Rights Issue/ Preferential Allotment/Private Placement/Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) or any other approved mode. It also approved raising of Capital upto Rs 1,000 crore by way of Non-Convertible, Redeemable, Unsecured, BASEL III Compliant, TIER 2 bonds in the nature of debentures ('debentures') on a private placement basis.
S H Kelkar: Up 9.84%. SHK has won an order in the Home Care segment from a large global MNC player in the domestic FMCG market. Besides, the Company’s operations and production activities at the Mahad unit have restarted in a calibrated manner from September 1, 2021 onwards. The operations were temporarily suspended on July 22, 2021, on account of unprecedented rains.
