IPO Update
Aditya Birla AMC IPO: The initial public offering (IPO) of Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC which opened today for bidding was subscribed 78 per cent by 12:42 pm. The three-day issue will close on October 1, 2021. The company has a plan to raise up to Rs 2,786 crore from this public issue. The initial share sales price band has been fixed at Rs 695-712. An investor can bid for a minimum of 20 equity stocks (one lot) and in multiples of 20 stocks thereafter. The offer is entirely an offer for sale, wherein two promoters -- Aditya Birla Capital and Sun Life (India) AMC Investments -- will divest their stakes in the asset management firm.

Indian Overseas Bank: Up 12.71%. The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday has decided to take out the Indian Overseas Bank out of the Prompt Corrective Action (PCA) restrictions. With this, many restrictions on the bank including providing loans will come to an end.
Sterling and Wilson Solar Ltd: Down 3.22%. The Promoters have facilitated the repayment of the balance Outstanding Loans of Rs 741 crore of the company along with further interest accrued to date. With this, the entire Outstanding Loans of Rs 2,563 Crore as on the date of listing of Company's equity shares on the Stock Exchanges along with all further interest accrued till date stands repaid in full.
Persistent Systems: Up 3.69%. Persistent Systems has announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Charlotte, North Carolina-based Software Corporation International (SCI) and its affiliate, Fusion360, and the business of East Brunswick, New Jersey-based Shree Partners including its subsidiary in India. The company has announced a Dedicated Payments Business Unit and Expands Cloud Capabilities through Strategic Acquisitions. SCI brings deep domain consulting capabilities specializing in Payment solutions, integration, and support services for an impressive portfolio of leading US Banks. Additionally, Fusion360 provides application development, maintenance, and support for leading Payment platforms including IBM’s Financial Transaction Manager (FTM).
HCL Technologies: Down 0.23%. The leading global technology company has launched a 5G Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) lab in India that will enable global telecom industry players to transition to a 5G network. This lab will help telecom service providers with multi-vendor options to move to a more open, intelligent, virtualized and fully interoperable 5G mobile network to provide an enhanced experience to end-users.
Blue Dart: Up 1.38%. Courier and transportation services provider Bluedart has increased its average shipment price by 9.6% effective from January 1, 2022.
IRCTC: Up 0.98%. The Company has fixed Friday, October 29, 2021, as the Record Date, to ascertain the name of shareholders entitled for Sub-division/split of equity shares of Rs 10 each into five equity shares of the face value of Rs 2 each.
Aurobindo Pharma: Down 0.05%. Aurobindo Pharma Limited has announced that its French subsidiary Arrow Generiques SAS has announced the opening of its new logistics and industrial site in Saint Vulbas, near Lyon, France. The new site has been completed with an investment of over EURO 20 million (Rs 172.6 crore) and is principally dedicated to the storage, preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products with an additional unit built for future industrial activities.
Birla Corporation: Up 3.91%. Harsh V Lodha, Chairman, MP Birla Group at the annual general meeting (AGM) has said that the company will increase its annual cement production capacity to 30 million tons (mt) by 2027. This is a new target set for the Company which had earlier said it would raise its production capacity to 25 mt by 2025. Birla Corporation Limited's current production capacity is 15.6 mt, which will go up to almost 20 mt by the end of the current fiscal year, when its greenfield 3.9 mt plants at Mukutban, near Nagpur, is commissioned.
JK Cement: Up 2.06%. The company has undertaken the upgradation of clinker Line 3 at JK Cement Works, Nimbahera, Unit of JK Cement Ltd. The said upgradation has been completed and commissioned. With this, the clinker capacity of Line 3 stands increased to 6500 TPD (from 5000 TPD).
PNC Infratech Ltd: Up 4.87%. The Company has approved the appointment of Mr. Subhash Chander Kalia, as Non-executive Independent Director of the Company, not liable to retire by rotation, and to hold office for a term of five consecutive years commencing from the date of the 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 29, 2021.
NIIT Ltd: Up 2.17%. Axis Bank and NIIT IFBI have launched a new program on Virtual Sales and Relationship Management. NIIT Institute of Finance, Banking and Insurance (NIIT IFBI) is a subsidiary of NIIT Limited.
HDFC AMC: Up 0.23%. Standard Life Investments sold 1.065 crore shares at Rs 2873.79/share (5%). T Rowe Price Bought 15.19 lakh shares at Rs 2871.05/share (0.7%).
Max Healthcare: Up 1.68%. Kayak Investments Sold 6.02 crore shares at Rs 350/Share (6.23%). Kayak Investments sold 2.42 crore shares at Rs 350/Share (2.5%). HDFC Mutual Fund Bought 57 lakh shares at Rs 350/share. SBI Mutual Fund bought 4.2 crore shares at Rs 350/share. Veritas Plc fund bought 52 lakh shares at Rs 350/share.
