Dollar index steadied around 107.61 as brent oil prices rose to $ 87.81 per barrel. after Saudi Arabia denied any increase in production, Anil Kumar Bhansali, Head of Treasury at Finrex Treasury Advisors LLP. Increased covid cases in China also kept sentiments sour though SGX nifty was up by 46 points, he said.
His recommendations for today is that exporters may continue selling towards 82.00 levels or keep a stop loss of 81.60 while importers to buy goid dips to hedge their near term import payables. GBPINR near 97.00 also looks good to sell.
Indian rupee to open steady around 81.75 levels as market awaits for FOMC minutes scheduled to be released on 25th November-22, he opines. Range for the day is 81.50 to 82.00 as Asian currencies steady after recently fall against the dollar.
