M&M, Axis Bank, Tata Motors and Larsen and Toubro are among the top gainers in the Nifty basket, trading with gains of around 4-2 per cent. On the other hand, Divi's Lab, Adani Paints, Tech Mahindra and Hero Motocorp are among the top losers, down around 1 per cent.

Cochin Shipyard shares jumped more than 14 per cent to hit an all-time high of Rs 573.20 per share on the BSE on June 5, 2023, Monday.

The counter touched a fresh 52-week high of Rs 547.75 apiece after gaining more than 1 per cent on the NSE during Monday’s session.
