Q4 Impact: This Kirloskar Group stock tumbles 10%
Shares of Kirloskar Pneumatic – a subsidiary company of Kirloskar Group – nosedived by almost 10 per cent to Rs 554.6 per share on the BSE on Thursday after the March quarter profit of the company dropped by 42 per cent year-on-year to Rs 42 crore from Rs 73.2 crore in a year ago quarter.
The stock, which was already listed on the BSE, made its debut on NSE on Wednesday, April 26.
Nifty Realty zooms nearly 2%
Aided by real estate majors such as Macrotech Developers, Godrej Properties, and Phoenix Limited, Nifty IT zoomed almost 2 per cent in an otherwise volatile session today.
The index contributed most to the broader market surge as both the Mid and Small cap has been outperforming the benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty.
HUL announces in line Q4 earnings; stock in red
Fast-moving consumer goods major Hindustan Unilever reported in-line earnings for the March quarter of the previous fiscal. The company’s standalone profit came at Rs 2,550 crore as compared to Zee Business' estimate of Rs 2,537 crore. Read More
HUL stock recovered from its day’s low level on Thursday to trade at Rs 2,474.5 apiece, down Rs 36 or 1.5 per cent on the NSE from the previous day’s closing of Rs 2,510.80 apiece.

Bajaj Twins top Nifty50 gainers
Bajaj Twins were the top gainer on Nifty50 during Thursday’s session, both Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserv grew more than 2 per cent on the NSE today.
Bajaj Finance shares surge on stellar Q4 numbers on Wednesday and Bajaj Finserv stock is gaining amid expectations of good March quarter earnings later today.

IT stocks in focus: Wipro, TechM earnings today
Nifty IT Index was up around a per cent hours after market opening on Thursday, April 27 – aiding the benchmark indices to trade in the green intraday today.
Wipro and Tech Mahindra – India’s 4th and 5th largest IT services firm – are scheduled to release their earnings later today. Both companies’ shares are in the green ahead of Q4 numbers.
Except for TCS, all stocks in Nifty IT index were in the green around mid-session today. L&T Technology and LTIMindtree gained the most by around 8 and 4 per cent, respectively.
Life Insurer shares in focus
HDFC Life Insurance dipped more than 2.5 per cent, while SBI Life Insurance jumped as much as 2 per cent on the exchanges during Thursday’s session after respective companies released their March quarter earnings for the previous fiscal.
HDFC Life on Wednesday said its profit remained almost flat at Rs 358.66 crore in the March quarter and SBI Life reported Rs 77.6 crore net income for the quarter ended on March 2023, marginally up from the Rs 67.2 crore it had booked in the 12 trailing months, despite higher premium and margins.

Mankind Pharma IPO Oversubscribed
The initial share sale of Mankind Pharma was oversubscribed by 1.88 times on the last day of the offer on Thursday, April 27, 2023, as of 11:05 AM.
The IPO received bids for 5.27 crore shares against 2.80 crore shares on offer, according to BSE data.

Q4 Impact: Maruti Suzuki shares tepid
After initial gains, Maruti Suzuki shares are hovering around the flatline at Rs 8508.20 apiece on the BSE during Wednesday’s session after reporting lower-than-expected earnings for the March quarter of FY23.
The auto major registered a 42 per cent year-on-year rise in the March quarter profit at Rs 2,671 crore, driven by higher sales, improved realisation and favourable forex movement.

Indian equity benchmarks inch up in early deals after a flat start to the monthly F&O expiry day. The Nifty briefly trades below the psychologically-important 17,800 level to largely move within the 17,800-17,850 band within the first few minutes of trade. The 30-scrip index gyrates in a range of 117.8 points around the flatline, between 60,271.5 and 60,389.3.
