Share Market Today | Sensex finishes 524 points off day's high, Nifty at 18,130; SBI, ITC down 2%
The Sensex finishes the volatile session with a loss of 128.9 points or 0.2 per cent at 61,431.7, having gyrated in a range of more than 600 points in intraday trade. The Nifty 50 loses 51.8 points or 0.3 per cent for the day to settle at 18,130, after broadly moving within the 18,100-18,300 band during the session.

State Bank of India NSE: SBIN shares trade in the red at Rs 578.5, down by 1.3 per cent or Rs 7.8 on NSE, after India's largest bank by assets reports a net profit of Rs 16,694.5 crore for the quarter ended March 2023 and announces a dividend of Rs 11.3 apiece. Zydus Lifesciences Q4 Results | Net profit at Rs 297 crore vs Rs 397 crore a year ago, declares 600% payout
According to the regulatory filing, Zydus Lifesciences's revenue comes in at Rs 5,010 crore for the quarter ended March 2023 as against Rs 3,864 crore for the corresponding period a year ago. According to Zee Business research, Zydus Lifesciences' quarterly net profit was estimated at Rs 722 crore and revenue at Rs 4,722 crore.
The drug maker on Thursday announced a final dividend of Rs 6 per equity share of face value of Re 1 i.e., a 600 per cent payout to its shareholders. "The Board of Directors at their meeting held today have recommended a final dividend of Rs. 6.00/- (@ 600%) per equity share of Re. 1/- each, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting scheduled to be held on August 11, 2023, " the company's filing said.

Jubilant FoodWorks share price dipped as much as 5.4 per cent to hit a day’s low level of Rs 455.90 apiece. The stock at around 12:40 PM was down over 1.5 per cent to Rs 473 a share on the BSE.
The QSR company reported a 70 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 28.54 crore, impacted by higher expenses and raw materials costs in Q4.
