Speciality chemicals player, Vikas Ecotech, has announced to expand its leading operations by capex of Rs 120 cr and will initiate a fresh hiring of 250-300 professionals.

The hiring will take place directly as well as indirectly, said a company statement.

"As a part of the expansion process, additional land will be required. The process will lead two operations. For the Ethanol Project 20 Acres of additional Industrial land will be procured. Likewise for the Agri Projects somwhere around 100-120 Acres of Agricultural Land will be acquired," said company in the statement.

Speaking about the plan, Dinesh Bhardwaj, CEO of Vikas Ecotech said, “The worldwide demand for specialty chemicals is rising and will sustain for long haul. We have recorded good result numbers and therefore we are expecting good revenue from it. The domestic and export demand interest after the pandemic has been strong too."
