UPSC Prelims notification 2021 released: Exam to be held on June 27-check details
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the UPSC Prelims 2021 examination. The Union Public Service Commission will hold a Screening Test for selection to Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2021 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021, June on 27. The examination is a qualifier for the UPSC Indian Forest Services 2021 Examination. Those who had applied for UPSC Prelims 2021 exam can check the notification on upsc.gov.in.

The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website upsconline.nic.in. Candidates have been asked to apply for these posts only in online mode and no other mode will be accepted by the UPSC.
Interested candidates are required to register online on upsconline.nic.in. Applications to remain open till March 24, 2021.
The Main Examination is likely to be held in November, 2021. The Main Examination will be held in Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.
Candidates wishing to withdraw their candidature can do so from March 31 to April 6.
Fee: Candidates applying (excepting Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination are required to pay a fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit card.
Age limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August, 2021, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1989 and not later than 1st August, 2000.
The number of vacancies is to be filled through the examination is approximately 712 posts.
