UPSC Prelims exam 2021: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the UPSC Prelims 2021 examination. As per UPSC notification, UPSC prelims exam 2021 will be conducted on June 27. UPSC Preliminary examination 2021 will be held to fill 712 vacancies at various Central Government departments as Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), etc. The examination is a qualifier for the UPSC Indian Forest Services 2021 Examination. UPSC Prelims exam 2021 admit card
The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website upsconline.nic.in. Candidates have been asked to apply for these posts only in online mode and no other mode will be accepted by the UPSC.
UPSC Prelims exam 2021 Important dates
Interested candidates are required to register online on upsconline.nic.in. Applications to remain open till March 24, 2021. Candidates wishing to withdraw their candidature can do so from March 31 to April 6.
UPSC Prelims exam 2021 educational qualification:
As far as educational qualification is comncerned, a Bachelor’s degree in any field is acceptable to be eligible for UPSC CSE Prelims. For those aspiring to join the India Forest Service, a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology.
UPSC Prelims exam 2021 Fee:
Candidates applying (excepting Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination are required to pay a fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit card.
UPSC Prelims exam 2021 Age limit:
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August, 2021, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1989 and not later than 1st August, 2000.
UPSC Main Examination 2021 date
The Main Examination is likely to be held in November, 2021. The Main Examination will be held in Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.
