UPSC CMS 2021: Union Public Service Commission notification OUT for 838 posts - Check eligibility, last date to apply, process, fee and other details
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification on Wednesday regarding the Combined Medical Services (CMS) examination 2021. The notification was released on its official website that is upsc.gov.in.

As per the information, the examination is scheduled to be conducted on November 21, 2021. Candidates who are eligible and wants to apply for the examination can note that the application process has begun and will end on July 27 at 6 pm. Interested candidates can apply by visting the official website at upsconline.nic.in.

Vacancy:
A total of 838 vacancies are offered by the UPSC for the CMS 2021. The Services/Posts to which recruitment is to be made and the approximate number of vacancies to be filled are:
Category-I
Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service - 349
Category-II
(i) Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways - 300
(ii) General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council. - 05
(iii) General duty Medical Officer Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation - 184
Eligibility:
Age- A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as on August 1, 2021, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1989. However, age relaxation of up to five years for SC/ST, three years for OBC, three years for defence services personnel, among others will be available.
Educational Qualification- For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
How to Apply?
1. Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website https://upsconline.nic.in.
2. Go to online application for various exams.
3. Click on Part-I of the CMS exam.
4. Read instructions carefully and fill part I and part II of the form.
5. Upload the images and submit the form.
6. Make the payment of Rs 200 as an application fee.
Candidates can note that an e-Admit Card will be issued three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be made available for download on the UPSC website. No Admit Card will be sent by post.
