UPPSC prelims exams 2020: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the results of PCS prelims Examination-2020 on its official website. Those who had appeared in the applied UPPSC prelims examination can check their results on UPPSC official website: uppsc.up.nic.in.

As many as 5393 candidates have qualified for the PCS main exam, while 180 candidates have qualified for the post of Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range Forest Officer (ACF/RFO).    

Preliminary results have been declared in five separate groups while the result of ACF/RFO Preliminary Exam-2020 has been declared separately, said the UPPSC notification issued by commission’s secretary Jagdish.    

The commission said that final answer key, details of marks obtained, and category wise cut offs would be released by the commission on its official website after the declaration of the final results of the recruitment exams.    

A total of 5,95,696 candidates had registered for the preliminary exams, of which 3,14,699 candidates had appeared. The commission had conducted the preliminary exams on October 11, 2020, at 1282 centres.     

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has shortlisted 593 candidates for 487 post of PCS theorugh PCS pre-2020 exam. Intitally, there were only 200 posts, however, 287 positions were created after request in this regard were made with the commission.  Similarly, 180 candidates for 12 posts of Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range Forest Officer (ACF/RFO) were shortlisted for the main examination.

UPPSC had earlier declared to hold the exams on June 21, however, later the exams were postponed due to coronavirus pandemic.
