TCS Q1 Results FY2023: India's largest IT services company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) added 14,136 people in its work force during the April-June quarter, taking the overall headcount to 606,331 as on June 30, the company said in its filing to the exchanges.
The attrition rate for the IT services was at 19.7 per cent for the Last Twelve Months (LTM), the exchange filing said.

The workforce continues to be very diverse, comprising 153 nationalities and with women making up 35.5 per cent of the base, the press release further said.
"The company gradually accelerated its return to office program in Q1, with about 20 per cent of the workforce now working from office. We must also note that the company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 8 per equity share," the filing said.

The IT behemoth, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) also reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 9,478 cr for the quarter ended 30 June, which was up 5.2 per cent Year-on-Year (YoY).
Apart from that, the largests Indian IT company reported a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 9,008 cr in the corresponding quarter in the year ago period.
