The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the notification regarding the registrations for the Combined Graduate Level Examination or SSC CGL 2024. Candidates who are willing to apply can submit their applications on the official website: ssc.gov.in.

Dates for submission of online applications 24-06-2024 to 24-07-2024

SSC CGL 2024: Application fee:
The application fee for SSC CGL 2024 IS ₹100.
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the application fee.
Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards. Online fee can be paid by candidates up to 25-07-2024 (23:00 hours).
SSC CGL 2024: Age limit and educational qualifications:
Depending on the post, the age limit lies between 18-32 years. The cut-off date for determining the age limit will be August 1, 2024. Reserved category candidates would be given relaxation in the upper age limit. Similarly, the educational qualification requirements also vary from post to post.
Essential Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2024):
Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level Or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Statistical Investigator Grade-II:
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all the three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.
Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):
Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable Qualifications: Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution; Degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.
All other Posts:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. The candidates who have appeared in their final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification on or before the cut-off date i.e. 01-08-2024.
SSC CGL 2024: Selection process
The candidates will be selected through a two-tier computer-based examination (CBE), scheme and syllabus of which has been mentioned in the notification, followed by a document verification round.
Document verification will be done by the user departments after the declaration of final results, the depatrment said.
The minimum qualifying marks in the examination are 30 per cent for unreserved, 25 per cent for OBC and EWS candidates and 20 per cent for all other categories. The maximum percentage of errors allowed (minimum qualifying standards) are 20 per cent for unreserved, 25 per cent for OBC and EWS candidates and 30 per cent for all other categories.
