SSC GD Constable notification, CGL and CHSL exams postponed
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the notification for GD Constable and has also deferred CGL and CHSL Exam 2021 till further notice. The decision has been taken considering the rise in Covid-19 cases.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the notification for GD Constable and has also deferred CGL and CHSL Exam 2021 till further notice. The decision has been taken considering the rise in Covid-19 cases.
The notification was earlier scheduled to release in the first week of May 2021. The new date for SSC GD 2021 Notification will be released by the Commission after assessing the Covid-19 situation. Candidates can visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in to get regular updates.

The SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Tier 1 Exam 2020 was scheduled to be conducted from May 21 to 22, 2021 has been postponed for the candidates who had opted for their centres in West Bengal.
The SSC Combined Graduate Level Tier 1 Exam which was scheduled from May 29, 2021, to June 7, 2021, has also been deferred.
Other than the above mentioned SSC examinations, the notification for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles examination 2021 has also been deferred.
The SSC GD Recruitment 2021 will be done for filling up the several posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) Posts in Assam Rifles.
