Eligibility criteria:
For the post of Medical Officer - MBBS degree included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (102 of 1956) with a recognized and requisite post-graduation qualification in the respective specialty and Medical Council Registration as medical practitioner in the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council, provided that the candidate must register his/her name in the West Bengal Medical Council within six months of joining the West Bengal Health Services, if appointed.
For Staff Nurse - i) General Nursing and Midwifery/ Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) passed from any nursing training school/ college recognized by both Indian Nursing Council and respective State Nursing Council
ii) Registration certificate from West Bengal Nursing Council
iii) Knowledge of Bengali/Nepali - spoken and written
General Duty Medical Officer - MBBS degree included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (102 of 1956) with a recognized and requisite post-graduation qualification in the respective specialty and Medical Council Registration as medical practitioner in the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council, provided that the candidate must register his/her name in the West Bengal Medical Council within six months of joining the West Bengal Health Services, if appointed.
One year’s practical training as House Staff in any government hospital or other recognized institution is desirable.
The application procedure has started from February 12, 2021 and will continue till February 20, 2021 until 8p.m.
