WARNING against false promises of employment opportunities has been released! Beware of “unscrupulous tele-callers” who pretend to be representatives of 'Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana' and are offering jobs, says PIB fact check post. The warning has come from PIB Fact Check Twitter handle @PIBFactCheck – a Twitter handle for countering misinformation on Government Policies and schemes.    

“Some unscrupulous tele-callers posing as representatives of 'Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana' are offering false employment opportunities,” PIB Fact Check Twitter handle said.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana or PMKVY is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.  

As per the information on the website, individuals with prior learning experience or skills will also be assessed and certified under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
