NDA Exam 2021: Few days left to apply for commissioned officers posts in Indian Defense Service; apply online at upsconline.nic.in

NDA Exam 2021: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for the National Defense Acadamy or NDA I Exam for which online applications are getting received from 30th December 2020. Interested and eligible candidates aspiring to become a commissioned officer in Indian Defense Service have been applying for the various posts notified in the UPSC NDA I Exam 2021. However, those who are yet to apply must remember that the last date to apply for the NDA I Exam 2021 is 19th January 2020. So, they have very few days left to apply for the exam. Applicants can apply online by logging in at the official website of the UPSC — upsconline.nic.in.

UPSC NDA I 2021 Exam Selection Process
Selection will be based on Written Test and SSB Test/Interview. Written test for the UPSC NDA I Exam 2021 will be held on 18th April 2021.

Once selected and commissioned in the Indian Defense Service, candidates will become eligible for the 7th Pay Commission pay and perks like pay scale, fitment factor, etc. as recommended by the 7th CPC and accepted by the Central Government.

Total Vacancy
The total number of vacancies notified in the UPSC NDA I Exam 2021 are 400 out of which 208 are reserved for the Army wing, 42 for the Navy wing while 120 are for the Air Force (including ground duties) applicants. These 120 seats for the Air Force applicants include 28 seats of ground duties. 30 Seats have been notified for the Naval Academy applicants.

UPSC NDA -I 2021 Exam Eligibility Criteria
Army Wing of NDA: Applicant should be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination and born not earlier than 02nd July, 2002 and not later than 1st July, 2005.

Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA & NA: Applicant should be 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics and born not earlier than 02nd July, 2002 and not later than 1st July, 2005.
