The interested candidates must note that the last date for the submission of registered online application form is May 31, 2021.

Number of vacancies: The interested candidates must note that there is a total number of 92 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Soil Conservation Officers in Class 2 (Group B) of Odisha Soil Conservation Service under Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment Department.

Pay scale: The salary for the posts is as per Level -10 of the Pay Matrix under ORSP rules, 2017 in consistent with pre-revised scale of Pay under PB - Rs 9300 to Rs 34800 with Grade pay of Rs 4600 along with usual Dearness and other allowances as sanctioned by the government of Odisha.

Age limit: The minimum and maximum age limit to apply for the posts are 21 and 32 as on January 1, 2021.

Educational qualification: The candidates willing to apply for the posts must have a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Agriculture Engineering/ Forestry from any recognized university.

Examination fee: The interested eligible candidates must note that they have to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs 500. However, the candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories are exempted from the payment of the fee.

Method of selection: The candidates pay attention to the method of selection for the above-mentioned vacancies. The selection of candidates for recruitment to the above-mentioned posts will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the written exam and the interview.
The candidates must note that the written exam will comprise of two papers, paper 1 and paper 2 which will carry 200 marks together. The questions will be of MCQ type.
The number of questions in each papers will be 100, each carrying one mark. '
The shortlisted candidates from the written exam will be called for an interview.
